Eligibility Criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is necessary, or its equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills in English
  • Numerical proficiency, exceptional analytical skills, and a strong desire to solve issues.
  • An outstanding communicator who can articulate complex concepts in a simple manner.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Daily tasks vary and may include confirming trades, transferring collateral, ensuring margin is paid on time, and assisting Portfolio Managers and Trading teams in meeting their objectives.
  • Enforcing strict operational risk management criteria (Key Risk Indicators / Key Process Indicators) and recognizing, discussing, and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take ownership of exceptions from beginning to end by analyzing root causes, collaborating with internal/external teams to take remedial steps, and following through until resolution is accomplished.
  • Review and question existing procedures to improve and rationalize where possible in response to a rapidly changing environment and requirements.
  • Developing technical competence through on-the-job training and self-study, with active participation in Technology and Operations meetings encouraged.
